Skorton CEO Departures Rhinehart relinquishes helm of coffee group Ric Rhinehart, executive director of the Specialty Coffee Association, is stepping down in early January to head a new Coffee Price Crisis Response Initiative. Yannis Apostolopoulos, now deputy CEO, will succeed him as CEO/executive director. SCA says the current low prices for coffee beans are affecting farmers and threaten the supply chain. Rhinehart was named executive director of the Specialty Coffee Association of America in 2008.
